Week 9: Support Local, Organic Farmers

Buy local, seasonal foods. Look for farmers who are not spraying their crops, use high quality seeds, and are concerned with sustainability. Visit a farmers market, join a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture), or get to know a local farmer in order to support conscious farming.

Activity 1: Visit a local organic farm. Find out what is in your area and make a fun day of it!

Activity 2: Complete the bee pollination activity. This was a fun hands-on learning activity from our March Bee Themed Subscription Box!

Activity 3: Watch this short video to learn about pollination and how bees help our food grow!
